I would recommend anyone who has a speeding problem to get a Valentine 1. I bought one about a week ago, and although it hasn't saved me yet (I hadn't been speeding) it is amazing how far away it can detect radar. I was in a 45 mph zone, doing the speed limit, and it started going off, and about 3/4 to 1 mile away there was a cop coming the opposite direction with his radar on. I was going around a curve, which had a lot of trees between me and where the cop would have been when it started going off. I was stunned. I had a K40 a few years back that I sold cause it didn't do much to help me. The Valentine 1 though, is absolutely amazing.

My best story was driving north on I95 going home from Florida, I cruised along at about 100-110 with a Mercedes S55 for almost 200 miles. I didn't have a radar detector at the time, but I could see he had one. A RX-8 and a ML500 joined in for a while, but I think they got nervous and dropped back. Awesome ride.
