its an electronic device that keeps ions in your car charged. the theory behind it is car manufacturers ion charge the metals. but in time they wear out / eventualy the oxygen moleculs enter which causes rust. bye installing a module it keeps the cars ionic charge and prevents rust. its been around awhile very common in boats . ill try attach a picture of the module. tomorrow
