Same here! Worked hard (blue collar job) to put myself through college so I could get a white collar job. Graduated college and started out making peanuts at the very bottom of the bucket. I took home 1,200 per month which barely paid my commute expenses. I had to live at home just to get by. Worked hard and learned... then moved on to a different company. Worked even harder and learned more.... moved on to a different company. Gave myself raises and worked hard for respect and knowledge to get where I am today. I found my place in life but it was a long road. Kids today graduate and expect 150K per year just given to them.

I am really glad to see I am not the only person that thinks this way. I knew I wasn't crazy!
