People respect me.... just not people like yourself. Am I losing sleep at night because you don't respect me? Not at all! Am I interested in earning your respect? Not really!

Children (or adults) do not get a free pass with me. They do not have my respect unless they earn it. If you give respect out so freely then it is your malfunction! Why would I respect a group of kids when they ask me "can I shake your hand?". In my world that is a wise crack question that deserves a firm kick on the rear end. Maybe growing up in the streets of NY has taught me more about human interaction then where you grew up.

You say kids know when they are being talked down to. Why did our society put kids above adults? Who gave our kids more power than their parents? I was taught to respect adults... don't talk back. Now I have a 26 year old telling me I should respect Kids! That type of mentality is the root of all our problems in society.

I could sit here and preach the truth to you all day and you still won't understand so there is no point. You haven't been in the real world yet so what do you know.
