I judge a book by the cover... which tells me if I need to proceed with caution until their cover comes off. It is called street smart and playing it safe.

If a guy that looks like a bum walks up to you with a gun, will you walk up to him and assume he is an ok guy? Or will you keep distance and proceed with caution until you get to know more about him.
