The question of "can I shake your hand?" was a wise crack! I am not taking away from karl's experience. I simply said their initial encounter was that of a wise crack. Everything after that was a positive experience for Karl and I am not trying to take that away from him.
I never lumped all kids into one bucket... I know there are exceptions to the rule. I was speaking about the majority of kids today. And I don't blame the kids. I blame the parents. I think a majority of Americans today would agree with me on that.
BTW, in addition to what I just posted I have to say in my experience this is true. These kids will get thru this but I suspect they'll be older before they "get it", whatever the f*** it is because I don't think I got it yet, I got me some but I don't think it was some of it1 Aww man now I'm really confused.
It's a serious issue we have going on in the culture. It really is a mess. Partly because of latch key kids, as a resul;t of stranger danger as a result of their parents loose upbringing as a result of thei9r parents diligence as a result of relief over the end of WWII etc.
