I attribute this to the lack of life experience on THEIR part that leads them astray - not their fault, but it IS their handicap.
I think that's a good description, Mark, the misinterpretation of individual rights, the idea of their own specific rights as being enhanced over others, and thinking that everybody thinks the same way they do. And I agree it is based on their overall lack of experiences.
