Default Re: Newbie type questions

Welcome to the forum! pretty much any question you can think of about the xfire can be answered here.

1 as to the octane you can use lower test but i WOULDNT. here in Florida we got the 93 and thats all i use. with lower test fuel you are losing horsepower. the injectors and your possibillity for ideal combustion are being compromised. Treat her good use the premium

2. well with synthetic you will change your oil less often so it will save you money in the long run i.e 3,000 compared to 7,000 with synthetic

3. your call really i use sport because where i live its flat andwe have awesome weather all year round. But if i was to face snow sleet gravely roads etc. maybe i would go with all weather? i cant really say.

anyway welcome to the forum! happy posting!

1. Gas. Hi-Test / 91 octane is recommended but I have read that it is not absloutely necessary.

2. Oil. Is synthetic really necessary / best?

3. Tires. All weather or sport?

Any thoughts very much appreciated by this xfire rookie!
