Angry Peeling Paint in the Wheel Wells

I've had my Crossfire for 1 year July 31st and put 10,377 miles on it. Around 2 months ago I noticed the paint peeling/chipping behind the rear wheels. I took it in to the dealer for inspection and had them look at it. They said that it's due to normal wear and tear and will not be considered warranty work. Is anyone else out there having problems like this with their paint behind the rear wheels. Between my wife and I, we've owned 5 cars from new and I never saw this in the 5 years we had those cars. Any feed back would be appreciated, I just can't imagine that this is normal. Thanks in advance for any responses.

After searching (should have done that first) I see this topic has already been covered. Unless anyone has something new to add I'll consider this post answered. Thanks again.
