Unless you can some how put it away without carrying cost, storage and insurance etc, there is no way to profit from saving a Crossie for later.

Storing it for even one year without precautions can have you at the shop to get complicated, rare, and costly, electronics straightened out.

This is a car most popular with middle aged folks who have a few bucks to spend on a special toy but not willing to part with a quarter mil on a Lambo.
Those folks will be dead in 35 years.

Youngsters hardly noticed the Crossfire so they don't really have a hankering that will come to fruition in their Barret/Jackson years.

Only a few collectors will be wanting to "round out" their collections. Jay Leno already has one. So who's left?

Most in the NASCAR crowd do not even know what the car is.
