I would use the n/a 55 or 500 engine with the six speed. If you want to supercharge it latter you can do that. Atwood European has a great kit for the V8 and the key to his kit is that they can now do all the tuning in the stock ECU. That 55 engine on Ebay would be perfect for the swap. a perfect engine at the right price doesn't come available everyday, so if you are serious you find a way to jump on it. I can tell you first hand there is nothing like a v8 Crossfire. I would love to see you and Rudy get this going! Rudy has some great ideas to perfect the n/a V8 swap but I can't send my car as it is my daily driver. You not needing your car right now would be perfect and you would be the first V8/Manual transmission car in the world! You can PM me if you would like to discuss.
Also - Just PM'ed Rudy with a link to the engine you mentioned, waiting on a response from him so that I can go ahead and nab that thing while it's still as cheap as it is.

Thanks for looking out / helping Lantana. I'm sure we're going to end up exchanging a -lot- of PM's in the future!

Ahhh... feels good to be back on the forums!
