Yup, that was the one I was referring to! Boo that you couldn't go! I was pretty upset that I couldn't make it, as well.
Hopefully, I should be! There's a lot up in the air with everything right now, so I'm not exactly sure when I'll be stateside again, but I'm definitely going to try to make this one, hell or high-water!
I have some relatives that live in Colorado, and I wouldn't mind seeing them again anywho.
Mmm... also, I'm over here as a contractor now. I served my 5 years, they tried to call me back in, but issues with my ankle prevented that. Since I had already packed up everything, put it all in storage, dropped everything not necessary to my life essentially, I said screw it, and came over here as a contractor with my company. Now I work -with- the military, keeping everyone involved safer. I do have to say that I enjoy my job, even with the long hours and lack of weekends / holidays off. Thanks for the kudos, though. It's appreciated, wholeheartedly!
