The best thing I learned with black vehicles in the past is never do anyting if the vehicle is warm. Keep it in the garage or in the shade. Always leave the hood and the trunk open while you're working on other panels. A good buffer with plenty of bonnet changes and remember a little goes a long ways. If the car has been neglected start with a clay bar on the entire vehicle first before anything.
