All in all, I do enjoy the Crossfire over the CSVT, but its hard to make the Crossfire standout in the crowd as far as mods, but that's alright for now.
Refinement doesn't come to my mind on the Crossfire. While I think they were able to work most the MB bugs out of the R170 design, the interior of our cars are almost a carbon copy of the same interior of the SLK's from 4-5 years back. The new SLK is my option of a refined car but this also comes from me seeing the progression from the R170 design.

Not sure if your mixing up your MB body styles but there's both the SLK and the SL series and can never say I heard the SL being called a "female" car. Coming from a person that would not be caught dead in a new bug or mini cooper, you could give me a SL55 or SL65 in pink for all I care; I would drive it all day long.
