Why does the car get called a "chics car"
This car has a monster bind spot, but I see a lot of cute chiks
well good looking woman drive this car now a days, well this is 2009. Are those woman around here? If so what you think ? perfect chick car?
I have had my XF for a bit over two months and it has been hit and miss with me. Only one time did someone tell me it was a girls car. I have had several guys ask me about it at the gas station. One happened to be a hardcore mopar guy who had just purchased a new hemi powered challenger for his wife. He was very interested in the crossfire. I do get alot of thats a cute car or wow nice car from the the ladies though.

I have to admit, I never owned a car that gets more comments from the young ladies. So if that makes it a "chics" car, I guess it's just a cross I'll have to bare.
Haha yea, how far back in the searches did you have to go to find this thing?
As for a 'chick car'...
Guys buy fast cookie cutter cars to impress other guys. The Crossfire impresses the woman. I'll take a good looking womans compliment over some random scruffy dude who calls it "sweeeet" and then starts bragging about what he has.
Funny thing is, I've only gotten compliments from guys so far!

I think the reason most guys don't like it is because they think the pricetag is going to be insane, I know at work, the comments were along the lines of I don't like it until one day I was telling them how cheap I got it for and now 2 of the same people that said they didn't like the car in any shape or color are now looking to pick one up.

So I ask you guys this, is it because the car is small, the styling or what? IMO the car is very solid, gets alot of looks, sounds good now that I've installed the muffler and out performs my previous car (2000 Contour SVT) in every category. Don't get me started about fit and finish either, that just wouldn't be fair to the CSVT. What do you guys think?
I just got back from the grocery store, and as usual I parked a mile away from everybody. When I came out of the store I saw a young girl standing near my car, and as I approached I noticed she was using her cell phone to photograph it.
When she realized I was walking in her direction, she quickly went around to the other side of the car and jumped into the passenger side of an older Mustang convertible (driven by yet another young girl). As they sped by me, the driver had a big smile on her face and yelled out, "Love your car".
I hate it when that happens.

Same here, I get alot of "cute car" from the ladies. I don't seem to get any comments from the guys though. I did get a few "nice ride" yesterday at a PT Cruiser regional rally. I was there taking photos of all the modded out PT's. The PT was my first love of a "nice" car after owning econobox's while were still a young and poor family. Ended up owning 4 of them before I fell in love with my "07 SSB.
Damn, I sure wish they would start labeling cars based on gender so I know what to buy. I see woman driving trucks, does that make them chick trucks? Who cares, the Crossfire I drive is not a chicks car, it's my car and chicks like it, especially my wife.

first off, and most importantly, i love driving this car. i've gotten hit on twice by cute younger women who've asked if it goes fast, and the like, love your car, and i wouldn't mind having a ride-to tell you the truth I don't think they were speaking only about the car by the time they got to that point. LOL!!!! The one thing that never fails to impress me is that when you pull into a parking lot, you'll see alot of heads swivel toward the car. they may not saay anything but the car definately always piques their interest, you can see it in their eyes. The car is a looker.
This is not Fernandez this is a buddy of his from work.
I drive a Saturn Ion Redline. The last of the "plastic" Saturns. I get lots of flack for driving that lol. A LOT of people don't even realize that it's an American car from GM till you explain it to them they think it's from Japan........it was assembled in Spring Hill, Tn lol.
I also have a 92 Miata that's my project car for autocross (I also run my Saturn in autocross) and I catch a LOT of hell for that. But I could really care less. That Miata is a ton of fun on the backroads. You just have to relaize that in stock form the Miata is not a drag racer. Even with a base aftermarket supercharger it still only makes 140-160 hp. Bone stock the first gen Miatas were lucky to make 100 hp to the wheels. But it handles like a dream.
I guess that the moral of the story is who cares as long as you like it. My girl likes my cars, I think more than I do.
I've driven Fernandez's car a few times and I have to say I was very impressed with the car. Light weight handles very well, good power even out of the NA V6, quiet, responsive steering, ect.
