Default Modifications

I'm new to the forums here. I have a 2004 Chrysler Crossfire, that I think is fairly quick and extremely beautiful. Although having owned it for over a year now I feel I need to get more out of it. I was wondering what initial and "simple" modifications I could begin with to improve performance. I am not racing it on a track, but I enjoy spirited driving on the roads. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I noticed a lot of knowledgable individuals on the forum who know what their talking about, and I couldn't think of anyone better to approach.

I was also interested in reducing break dust, and as far as I've heard "ceramic" brake pads are a good solution, however they lack braking power. My question here is "do they lack braking power as compared to the OEM's I have right now?", If not then I'm assuming it would be a good upgrade.

Thanks.
