I took them apart very carefully, using an exacto knife and cutting away carefully at the silicone sealant they use. Putting these lights in a oven will not work, they dont use a temperature cured sealant/adhesive. Others have cut the lense off, but i didnt really want to go that route. I wanted easer acess incase i needed to get to the CFL's or such.
As far as wiring the halos, im going a totaly different route then many others have. Im using some automotive style slealed thru connectors that i will use to run wires to and from the housing, then using a wireless remote switching moduel to contol the whole monstrosity.
Im also doing the lower eyebrow mod as well. I actualy just finished wet sanding and polishing the lenses yesterday, time to get back on the project.
