Umm, the clutch is hydraulically "actuated"- I think that's what he meant by "hydraulic". Mustangs (assuming fox platforms here- can't remember 95-) have cable clutches. They are self adjusting, however you can get a bit more throw on them if you adjusted them yourself from time to time. Hydraulic clutches are self adjusting just like brakes would be since any wear in the friction material will be compensated for with more fluid filling the lines.
