Modding is money you should plan on never getting back. In fact it may lose you money as you're hearing from the experience of other sellers. If I'm buying a race platform, I don't worry about mods. If I'm buying a car for the street, I look for excellent stock performance and leave it alone with the exception of tires.
Wow.....well, there you go....but, stock they really suck....I would have went back to a stock vette if I wanted to putter around and look good, but once you modify these just a little, cold air intake, an easy install for us old shade tree mechanics, a code 3 pulley, again easy install, and the tune, well, you have to have the masters of the programming to help you there, and I have two SRT's that perform just fine and will never go back to they way they were. But, it is your money, and your car.....just don't knock the old shade tree mechanic out there, 'cause those that frequent this forum are pretty good at what they do....
