Also, the quality of the work and the skills of the mechanic involved in mods is a complete unknown. Was it done by a competent shop or some guy with jack stands in his back yard? Modding is money you should plan on never getting back. In fact it may lose you money as you're hearing from the experience of other sellers. If I'm buying a race platform, I don't worry about mods. If I'm buying a car for the street, I look for excellent stock performance and leave it alone with the exception of tires.
thats just it you wouldnt know a modded car from here unless they want you to. so easy to go back to stock they can lurk all day mod the car race it every weekend and then sell it as completely stock. not everyone shows what they have under the hood
btw i have jackstands in my garage and ill stand behind my skills over a dealer any day! without star das most of them couldnt find the muffler!
