Is that the LET mod 1 water pump pulley?? That sharp outside corner makes me think about that. Check the inside and see if it has a nice sized radius. There was an issue with the original LET WP pulley and they redesigned it to be thicker and have a nice radius on the inside of that angle to give it strength....make sure you do not have the 'mod 1' WP pulley...
