Its me, "Teck-9" changed my name cuz I don't like that nickname anymore. Now that thats done, time for project updates. Since I decided to see this project through, I went ahead and got my SRT downpipes from Rob. I also got an SRT cat-back to avoid having to have the downpipes fabricated. The cat-back also had dual Bosal mufflers, one of Rob's projects that he couldn't get rid of. What a lucky find for me. Those Bosals have by far the best sound I have ever heard. They do not make the catless exhaust sound rough, its just like a Lamborghini only louder. Needless to say I'm a Bosal fan-boy now and that's all I will use. I even asked Rob to see about Bosals for my Audi because i am addicted to the sound. So with all cats deleted and cut-outs now added to my list of mods, my most recent drive showed a drastic jump in performance as there was 3 times more air and spark and a good bit more fuel going in and now there is a much larger and more free flowing way for it all to get out. Last month I test drove an SRT-6 at the manheim auction in Flatrock that I frequent. After seeing many discouraging posts in this thread, my hopes are much higher as my N/A now feels much more like the SRT-6 that I drove and the gap in speed seems to be shrinking. I have decided to abandon the pulley kit as the 11hp is not worth the risk of throwing off engine harmonics. My remaining mods are a 74mm TB and an Inmotion custom ECU tune. I'm also considering S 430 injectors, but haven't weighed out the risk vs reward for that yet.
