You guys talk about using an oil extractor to drain the oil. Any idea of which kind is the best? I used to use an oil extractor on my inboard boat but wasn't impressed with the job, of course that was back in the late '90's. Any suggestions on one of the better extractors sure would be appreciated.

I bought an HT MOTO Smart Tool Oil Extractor. It has a flexible metal tube (which is good because it won't get soft and contract like some of the other plastic tubes which restricts flow) and holds almost 4 gallons of oil, which is important because our cars use 8.5 quarts --- so you don't have to stop and empty like some of the other lower volume extractors. It worked well for me (only used once so far). It requires more pumping than one might expect and takes a little longer to suck it all out than expected but who cares, you can pump it, walk away and let it do its thing, then come back 10 minutes later and pump it and let it finish.
