Default Re: Cleaning exhaust tips

I picked my SRT-6 up a week ago. 17,500 miles of accumulated carbon on the exhaust tips. They were black. Twenty minutes with an SOS pad got rid of all the carbon. Thank God they're stainless and not chrome. I'm thinking some Meguiar's NXT 2.0 synthetic polymer wax may stand up to the heat and make cleaning easier in the future.
