Default Re: Tire Pressure sensor

When I first joined this forum in 08, the used car dealer that I bought my Crossfire from said I might have to go to Chrysler dealer to make the TPMS light go out. I did a search on this forum and someone else suggested the magnet trick. I believe my car was parked and ignition off and I took a U-shaped magnet and I held it with the legs of the magnet pointing toward the valve stem and twisted the magnet around the stem in a 360 degree circle. I believe my left front tire had been low and triggered the sensor. I can't remember if I did this to the other 3 valve stems as when I started the car the TPMS light was out.

Give it a try. I don't see how this can damage anything, but it should reset the TPMS. Try doing a search; Iwill too. Jerry
