After nearly a year and a half of research, debate, measuring, emailing, etc... the time has come and the purchase has been made.
I
finally bought a new set of wheels.
I went with the Mandrus Wilhelm, in staggered fitments similar to OEM.
Pros:
- Classy, ten-spoke design reminiscent of the RennTech Monolite
- Subtle lip depth, front and rear, gives only a slight hint of appearing afermarket... not a loud shout
- I wanted a compromise between the seven spokes of the limited, and the fifteen of the SRT
- I wanted the fitment to be as close as possible to OEM without using spacers
- Being the newest wheel from Mandrus, the design is fresh
- 1,950lb load rating
- Mercedes-specific application means I won't be seeing these on a Hyundai
- The shallow lip allows for more clearance for larger calipers, than comparable wheels with bigger lips with same offset... this will come into play for future mods

- Too-good-to-be-true pricing ($1,000 shipped)
Cons:
- Weight is only a few pounds lighter than OEM... no massive weight savings. Not a recommended track wheel
