Default New photos of Mandrus Wilhelm

My attempt at being artistic, haha

Cloudy, misty days are seldom embraced by me, but they make for great contrast in photos. These are the first 'decent' photos I've taken of the car since the wheels have gone on.

Here are some samples, more pics in gallery:

Lemme know what you think!

Thanks Bill! Clean and 'almost OEM' were my goals with this wheel setup.

Who knows, I might be able to talk her into that. Now let us pray she doesn't force me to do the same beside her car... hahahaha

Much thanks to you. I have always owned black cars, the crossfire is the only one I kind of like better in white. The alabaster and silver is an exxxtra clean combo. The wheels look great on both though and add a little different flavor to each. Good call!

It was a dice-roll, but well worth it. I don't even think anyone on MB-world was running these before I got them... The first shipment that made it stateside didn't have the face machined (d'oh) so they were sent back and the next batch didn't hit until April. I got one of the first sets shipped out. Who did you end up buying from? I dealt with Eric from Wheelstudio, super professional guy and very patient with all of my math until I found a set that worked for me...

Same. I checked around local and online and the price could not be beat. I shelled out for PS2s on the stock wheels not to long ago and just couldn't do it again so I went with the Hankook ventus rubber. They were cheaper at tire rack so I checked if wheelstudio could match but they could not. (never know till you ask ) but with free mount/balance/shipping the difference is made up. Shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition.

Found out about the drying process tonight 4 dryings later. How they hold enough water to get completely soaked that many times I don't know.

I won't have them installed until next weekend but I bought a set of Black Wilhems. They're going on my Blaze Red 04.

Thank you John for the tip on WheelStudio.com . I almost spent a lot more at NTB.

Those should look fantastic, I'm excited to see them on!

And yes, Wheelstudio is where it's at. Super fast shipping and arrived in fatastic shape. They ship FedEx too, which is awesome.

It really is mind-boggling. I think the best way to combat this is to use an air-hose, if you have that luxury. I don't, so I give my wife a straw and tell her to huff and puff.

That's immediately before she smacks the crap outta me

Can you elaborate any on this drying process...?

Also I took a peek at the Wheelstudio website and I'm assuming these are the wheels showing in your pix. They have a number of different finish variations on the Wilhelm for the Xfire:

Mandrus Wheels Mandrus Wilhelm Silver with Mirror Cut Face and Mirror Cut Lip Wheels - Mandrus Wheels Wheels on sale, cheap rims, cheap wheels from Mandrus Wheels at discount prices

(Mandrus Wheels - Mandrus Wilhelm Silver with Mirror Cut Face and Mirror Cut Lip)

I'm thinking about giving Eric a call and taking the plunge for my SSB Limited '07.

A while back I had a local Rim Retailer quote me a price of $1350 installed on the Mandrus (Rims on existing tires), but I don't recall which Model and finish he was quoting. I think it was for the Millenium line, cause I think the Wilhelm's are a recent addition to their line up.

Any additional details you can provide is appreciated...

Thanx...
