Basically like the OPTIMA battery ..... great for marine use because it can be installed in any position, even upside down. I'm old school ..... the heavier the battery, the more lead, the better .... (at least in most cases).
The Shuriken appears to be a DEEP cycle unit, and as stated in their write up, when properly set up with your regular starting battery, it limits the draw on that unit when powering other things like stereo's, winches, anchor windlasses, and other high draw options. Just my take on it...
