So first I took the smoked plastic cover and cut a few notches with a hack saw where I wanted it to bend. Then grabbed the heat gun and heated it until it was plyable and I bent it to the shape I wanted to make it lower profile and not stick up into the botttom grill section.
Then I cut & bent the plate and siliconed it into the plastic holder (silicone not shown) making sure to seal it so no water or crap gets in there and settles into the bottom eliminating a mold possibility.
