I have a 2005 Crossfire SRT soft top roadster, over the past 4 weeks I have noticed that the car has no power whan I hit the gas, the car normaly works well for the first maybe 15 or 20 minutes of driving but after that if I hit the gas there is no power.
You can hear the car drop down a gear or two but there is no power and the engine strugles to climb hills or even on a flat road it still has the same problem.
If I take my foot off the gas for about 20 or 30 seconds and then hit the gas again the engine will start working normaly again to full power or if I stop at lights and the engineis at idle and I take off it will work at full power but then down the road it will cut out of power again.
When driving down the road you can feel the engine like pick up power of like half a second then there will be no power at all.
I was thinkng it may be a gearbox problem, but now I am thinking it might be the Supercharger.

Has anyone had this happen to them or hear of this problem ?
Please help as my local dealer have no idea....Im from Sydney Australia.

Cheers Scotty
IC Pump my friend from Sydney. It's a common problem. Most fix it by replacing it with a Johnson pump, rather than a stock bosch pump. Rob at www.needswings.com carries them. You will be back to full power. Once in a great while it can the be the IC temp sensor, but I would say the pump is more your problem, as it needs to be replaced anyway....good luck
