Has anyone else had an issue keeping the lower pieces in? I simply cannot get them to stay in for stretches of time. I have tweaked it and tried to make it hold better and it lasted a few months before yet again falling out.

Any tips on making it stay in?

If not are any of the other grilles (not including the stock grille) reliable?
