I'm just visiting the site but hope I can help. I think the SLK32 is essentially the same so I will post this. My SLK32 was having the same problem but it was only the fuse for the intercoooler pump. There was apparantly a notice from Mercedes to replace the 5 amp fuse with a 7.5 amp fuse. I did so and have not had a problem since. If you have not checked the fuse, do so before changing the pump or the problem will still be there. If the fuse is blown and continues to blow the 7.5, the pump is probably bad. Good Luck
