I was using that intake about a year ago. January, I had the charger out and saw the divet in one of the lobes. It was shaped just like a big piece of welding slag. I cleaned up everything, well you saw this thread. Needless to say I stopped using the intake. Last Sunday I took off the throttle body to see how my catch can is working and there is silver/aluminum dust all over. I took off plenums and it all stayed above (maybe). I think the SC bearings are shot from the shock and are letting the rotors touch. The car still runs fine and I found a supercharger with way less miles than the rest of the car so I'll just swap that and keep going.

And to make matters worse I got waxed by a kid in a stupid Pontiac G8 today. I just sat there spinning tires as he drove away.
