What you really need to look for is the "X factor" on new wheels.When you have a big brake kit but cant afford to have a larger offset, or spacer, you look for a wheel with a high Xfactor. I have the CLK63 caliper and rotors with factory spec front rim. 18x 7.5 et35. the xfactor is the outside shape of the wheel or "face" of the rim. think of a half of basket ball. most wheel/tire shops can help with this. for example the stern st5 rims have a split 5 spoke design, if you notice the spokes roll out and back in to give more of a lip and also allowing clearance for larger calipers.
