I do not dispute the tire difference, or possible quality, i am very happy for your michelin purchase & look forward to your thoughts, the hankooks are a cheaper alternative depending on your chose, i went with the 700 tread 100,00 mile which is a significant upgrade, also in the last 2 yrs i have averaged only 4100 miles on the car, i feel this was also a determining factor on my choice, besides the fact they are super quite and smoother on the ride.
