Default Shed some light on the subject...

I bought 16 ft of 12v waterproof LED lighting w/self adhesive mounting tape. The strip of LEDs is manufactured so it can be cut in 4" segments. Cut to length, then soldier two wires on and you are ready to go. Very easy to work with.

I wanted the lighting controlled the same as the dome light. So it had to be tapped into the circuit after the domelight due to the switching feature. So I decided the easiest way was to simply splice the cargo light wire. I was able to do that without pulling of bunch of interior stuff out but rather just pull some panels partly loose.

Now I need to replace the dome light bulbs to color match closer and I will be all set.
