Ugh This is a common problem with W202's. The W208 uses a solid bushing which is less likely to tear, I thought the R170 used it also. The common symptoms are a slight clunk, or intense front tire squeal turning tight corners. It does not take a lot of tearing in these bushings to create problems.

I bet you could use the LPD W202 urethane bushings. I can do a quick measurement as I have not installed mine yet. You may need two new LCA bolts to install them.
