I never adjusted the dual climate control in my car (I live in Florida) and used to have it on the coldest setting all the time, blowing ice cold air out of my a/c. Now, I went on a little road trip with a friend and she was getting cold after a while so I told her to adjust the temperature with the dual climate wheels. Nothing changed however. The only time the temperature changed was when she turned it all the way to "hot" (last red dot) and then hot air blew out of the vents.
Is something wrong with my a/c? Does anybody have a similar problem?

I have observed that if I have the A/C on and the passenger wants their air a little warmer,they won't GET any WARM unless I put my side several "dots" above full cold. If I fail to do this, I get the same thing you did.
I've had two roadsters so far, same thing with both of them. It's the way it's designed. Next time, try running yours up a few "dots" and see if she on the other side has more control of temperature.
