No, he has absolutely NO point at all. An armed society means a car jacker can get shot. And, there is always a need for police. You just haven't needed one yet. Arm yourself America, and the bad guys know they can get shot. Take away your right, and only the bad guy will be armed. As far as road rage, let them go, they will get caught sooner or later. You don't how many reports a day the dispatcher get from the guy who got cut off. Cell phones are everywhere, and they now can take video of the idiot that is weaving in and out of traffic, with license plate info and all. The judge loves to see that. It makes his or her job easier. You be the smart one, and just drive your car the right way, and let the police handle the idiots out there.
