If in fact the Tank has a hairline line crack, and it was not subject to an over fill, here's an easy fix, rather than replacement.

Just get a Hot Glue Gun and run a bead of hot glue along the crack, and let it dry, cold to the touch.

In my Daughters Pontiac, I had a hole develop in her Radiator over flow Tank, due to vibration and wear against the mounting, along one corner.

I hit the hole with Hot Glue, re-installed the Tank, and it's been holding hot radiator fluid ever since.

I'm sure hot glue will work with a cold fluid Tank, no-problem-o...
