Hmmm that's strange... Iceberg blue as in 8000k? 35W? You should be seeing much better even at 8000k or even 10000k (not reccomended for lows).
You may be suffering from chronic bad bulb positioning
. My old 8000ks were much brighter than the halogens.... you can also buy some 5000k-6000k if you wanna cut out the blue for more of the light.
