Default Re: Wavetrac at the track

I can fit a 255 on the front but I believe I'd have to shave the nut that's there. I have over 5 mm room to the inside with the 245's but any lateral movement of the tire under cornering with 255's might cut the tire. (I'm thinking of trying a 255) Offset is 30mm and the rim is 9" wide. My car now has 10,000 mostly track miles. Actually it's a track toy more than anything else but I've keep the car as close to perfect as possible. No swirls, only the best microfiber and buckets with strainers in the bottoms etc. (Adam's products) The car is aligned every 3 months, brakes are checked before every race, oil has been changed twice a year regardless of milage, I pull the plugs frequently to see what they look like. If the car needs something it gets it. I plan to fix the damage and keep it dual duty. What I'm currently thinking is why not wrap it after paint for protection? I don't want to start collecting parts until I have a plan of action and the shop tells me what I need to locate.
