I have to agree with Rob M, that the Continental All-Season tires offer more grip that just about anyone is going to need on the street. That's a generous patch of speed-rated rubber. On the track, it could be a different story... I would consider finding some lighter wheels if I took my crossfire racing. I remember reading somewhere that the combined weight of wheel and tire was something ridiculous like 54 lbs. That's a lot of unsprung weight. Thank heavy, large, big-spoke wheels for that and run flat tires.

Brakes - just a caution that ceramic pads may cut down on dust, but they may also accelerate rotor wear. I don't know about you, but I would rather wipe off a bit of dust once or twice a week, rather than turn or replace rotors early. But yes, I agree that brake dust on these cars is ridiculous. Oh well. Just another excuse to wash it, right?
