And lord knows, you've bought a lot of "things" for your XF.

But, I couldn't agree more. I still marvel at the difference these pads made.

Rotex Gold's should be considered a high-priority upgrade by all new owners that care about the appearance of their "babies".

Hey everybody, I'm getting ready to change my brake pads. One day of driving, a few bugs on the bumper and two weeks worth of brake dust.

No doubt I will go with the Rotex Gold but has anybody tried CERAMICOOL pads. They are 100% ceramic and the pads don't even appear to be black. They are claiming low dust and much cooler operation. They may be too expensive though because Brake World doesn't even list their price.

I just put the Rotex gold on and drove it about 160 miles. I took a white rag and dusted all four wheels. The rag had very little brake dust on it. I might add the trip I took was on steep mountain roads that you have to use the brakes a lot. In the past after the trip the front wheels would nearly be black. I'm very happy with the Rotex Gold pads. You won't be disappointed.
