This question came up when I saw a Base Roadster on e-Bay for $26K "But It Now". I started thinking, "oh, man... that's affordable. You could have bought a Roadster!". But, then I recalled that my wife and I bought the sports car for weekend getaways, and I started thinking that the Roadster would not accommodate our luggage anyhow. Maybe it's just my way of making myself feel better about the whole thing. I don't know. But, I am plenty happy with the coupe, and it definitely meets our needs!
