Coupe Vs. Roadster : Trunk space?
Obviously, the Coupe has more luggage space than the Roadster. Anyone have any idea what the EPA-measured cubic feet of both are? Just curious. Anyone with a roadster tried to pack a pair of duffles in there for a weekend getaway with your significant other?
I only have the figures in SI-unit:
Coupe: 215 Liters (7.6 cu ft)
Roadster, closed: 184 Liters (6.5 cu ft)
Roadster, topless: 102 Liters (3.6 cu ft)
For conversion:
1 Liter = 0.035 cubic feet
1000 Liter = 1 cubic meter = 35.315 cubic feet.

This question came up when I saw a Base Roadster on e-Bay for $26K "But It Now". I started thinking, "oh, man... that's affordable. You could have bought a Roadster!". But, then I recalled that my wife and I bought the sports car for weekend getaways, and I started thinking that the Roadster would not accommodate our luggage anyhow. Maybe it's just my way of making myself feel better about the whole thing. I don't know. But, I am plenty happy with the coupe, and it definitely meets our needs!
