If being part of the Crossfire Forum meant everyone was in agreement, we would all be driving Aero Blue SRT's or SSB Roadsters.
Yes, the forum is about "cars", namely Crossfires.
But it is also about the community of people that share an interest in Crossfires.
How wonderful that we could share a common interest blended with the many differences in type, color, and style. We do not ridicule each other because of a preference not the same as our own. We accept them and are interested to know in what it is they like about their particular version of the Crossfire.
The same carried over to the Political thread. Many of us who found new friends here, shared and blended that common bond to a better understanding of other personal views.
At a time in our country when it is so important that we all come together and try to understand why we feel the way we do, personal attacks were allowed to spoil a valuable and interesting venue which was enjoyed by so many of our forum community.
No one was ever forced to read the political thread. They chose to be there.
