That's poor wording, too biased. So the results should be ignored unless the no vote wins.

Welcome back, just in time to have your original persona join with your new one.

Franc, I think you're exactly the right person to moderate this forum. I second your nomination as a fair and non-partisan adjudicator where complex clashes of ideology between liberals and your friends threaten disharmony within your tribe.

This would make Solomon smile!

And Jesus would smile if TiredRetired would accept the nomination as your Vice Moderator.

If you were a voice of reason for the left side of things, we would have certainly welcomed your opinions.

On that note, opinions were welcomed but the personal attacks never were. Towards the end, I had numerous attacks on my faith in Christ and my conservative beliefs. These attacks weren't retaliation for any personal attack I had levied against anyone, but rather a rebuttal for the conservative values I held and defended. Stating that you believed folks should work for their money (shocking, right?) would net you a charge of racism. From where, I have no clue.

Since my involvement in the political forum, dating back to 2007, I've noticed one overall theme: Liberals are all about peace, appeasement, caring for others, and insuring the prosperity of all -- only as long as you agree with them. If not, look out and you had better have thick skin.

It caused tension, but it's about the only "developing" section of the forum. Innovative modifications for this car have hit a plateau, so I suspect the forum traffic will drop significantly....

I hold no authority on this site, so I'm along for the ride. Life will surely go on.
we had a vote on this a while back. it held on but, really i agree with jhm2k. this a crossfire forum and they're not made anymore. i kept looking for political posts on cars and found virtually none. so, no new crossfire, no political forum where we talk about primarily about cars, no argument. shut it down since there's little to no talk about auto legislation.

Bout time someone told the truth Erzer!

The posts above by John, Kane and Zorro were right on. Musicnsurf too. Basically we've got a forum dedicated to a 1938 Cord. Great group of guys and gals. We had a vote before. Now a new one. Different result? Maybe. so best 2 out of 3? Rock paper scissors?

Anyway great discussion everybody, that's why this is fun. BTW, I really do understand where you are with this Gary. Seriously, no animosity at all. Been in that bad spot you are, but usually related to my income. Just needs a dedicated and unbiased moderator. Which is not to say you are not, but really in this area, it needs to be called out on both sides. This BS from Rush about having to jump in to protect the women and children just made me laugh. Protect Rad? Good thing he's on your side because he'd eat your lunch. And take tomorrow's money too. Would love to hear from the Rads and all that. Learn alot, dispute alot, but it's all fun. Ain't nobody hurtin' anybody. But at least one needs to seriously stop the derogatory comments-but we all know that know. Bet somebody will be back without the other? I won't. Hard to keep that rhetoric straight for sure.

This thread is now closed. I left it open enough for you to vent since no notice was given on the closing of the Political forum.
There will be no political discussions in the general forum or any other forum. That's not to say that the occasional comment can not be made on an event or headline, but if starts a debate, it will be removed.

I see that a poll was started. Please keep in mind the poll was started by those who want it reinstated and is not sanctioned by the forum owner.

Thank you for your cooperation.
