Default NW CAI installed on my SRT

Ok, I just got my NW CAI installed on my SRT Roadster, and just took my first ride around the block. All I can think to say is... No..... No..... Nooooo..... Helllll Nooooo.......... There are not enough lemons in the world to take the smile off my face right now. Dang what a rush. My stomach feels like it did right before I went on my first date. Ahhhhh, and..... the sweet music that the SC sends to my appreciative ears as I stomped on it with the top down. I must say that the CAI far exceeded my expectations. I think that this just solidified my membership into the brotherhood of the never ending quest to add performance mods. As happy as this has made me, I can only imagine what it will be like when I add a pulley, and get a tune. Ok, enough rambling......... I feel the need for speed!!!!!!! Bye bye

Did ya get the single or the dual?
If the single. Your next mod could be to get the dual!

I got the single. I bought it from a forum member that just sold his XF. So, you would go with the double before adding a pulley? Can you eloborate on the difference between the single and double? Thanks

I have the single Needswings and I feel the same as you do. Then I got a Code3 pulley. Now I have a serious problem. No traction! You'll reach the same point soon. So, what to do next? Wanting even more power but not having traction with the power you already have. So I bought Michelin Pilot Sport Cups ($$$$$) and you know what? Still lacking traction. Just letting you know. So who has the faster car, the one with more power and less traction or the car with less power and more traction? I don't know about you but this is the type of problem I like having. What a fast, fun little car.

Les

Oh yea! Intake, pulley and tune is all you'll need. Leave the exhaust alone since people have been getting great results, unless you just want a little more noise. Haven't found any HP benefits upgrading my exhaust several times.

I'd go with a pulley next. Then think about upgrading to the dual intake.
Woody tested and found extra boost (I think a pound) by going with the dual setup. NW's sells an upgrade kit.

Thanks for the advice. I have started sifting through all of the treads on pulleys. Decisions..... decisions..... It is almost information overload trying to go through all of the posts. It would be nice if we had stickies for subjects like: pulley comparisons, intake comparisons, exhaust comparisons, tune comparisons, etc. This way we could have a one-stop-shop to get all of the information that we need to make a sound decision when making performance mods. I am not complaining though. This forum and its members are the best!

That would be nice, but the only true way to compare them would be to have them all done on the same car...which I don't think could happen...

Needswings sells a double intake version of theirs? I was thinking of getting a needswings CAI cuz some of you on here said that if gets 10-12 horespower. Is that right? And if they do sell a double setup, how much hp would that yield?
