I"m goin with three other cars Friday morning, we'll be taking I75 thru Atlanta to 575... it turns into GA 5 / 515 .... I've grown tired of that damn 285/85/985 corridor. You might consider our route, it's pretty and once you get off on I575 traffic is no longer a problem. It's only about 15 miles less - but sure seems to be quicker (you go thru no actual town after Canton, GA)..
I came home that way once and have never gone "the east route" since. Just sayin...
